I hear you are a pretty big deal in the underground fashion world. What started it all for you?

Music, and my Family could possibly be responsible for this.  Going to record shops, and idolizing people like Courtney Love at the age of 10 years old; while shopping all over NYC and Long Island with my Shop-aholic mother.  By the time I was 16, I met Betsey Johnson, Joan Jett, Marilyn Manson..etc. I was always a little “different.”

In two words describe your style.

Depends on my mood, it could be either Goth Thug or Ghetto Punk.

What is “The New Pop”?

The New Pop is an online magazine showcasing many things that are happening in today’s world (mainly NYC). I am just a part of the website where some people can learn and relate too. The New Pop tries to showcase different lifestyles in an organic way.

I love the way you play with color. What inspires you the most?

My mind inspires me the most. I sometimes live in a fantasy world and that determines my outfit for the day. If I’m feeling oddly ’90’s, I’ll throw on my best “Fly Girl” gear.

What are you into for next season?

After seeing the “goth” exhibit at F.I.T., I’ve been inspired by black and vampiric, and religious images. Rosaries, lace and spandex! It just takes my look to a different level. 

What is your fave song you can play on repeat forever?

“Hip Hop” by Dead Prez., “Like a Prayer” by Madonna, “Call me” by Lil’ Kim, and Too Short.

Are we going to continue to see influences from the 90’s?

YES! The thing about the past is it’s honesty to glamour. Fashion today doesn’t even know what “glamour” means, nor does it even celebrate having fun with dressing up! Fashion shows in the ’90’s were Major events.

Tell us the craziest thing you have seen at fashion week?

Fashion Week is mostly Industry people who work 9-5, Mon-Fri… So they’re not where the crazy is, I’M the craziest thing that happens to Fashion Week!

I read you would like your own network T.V. show. Would it be a sitcom or reality?

I would have to say a bit of both, sort of Absolutely Fabulous meets Reality T.V.! 

You seem real high energy and full of life, what do you like to do in your down time?

Write, Draw, Watch porn. Ha!

Most embarrassing moment?

In the night life when you’re engulfed by free bottles, drink tickets, drugs, anything can really happen. I’ve had my share of horribly embarrassing moments.

3#  Maybe that painting on the wall isn’t a painting at all, but a little super birth/butt sniffing midget who loves to sneak into rooms where people are giving bitrh and then place their noses at the end of woman’s butt cracks so the the birth smell can travel right directly up into their nostrils.

  We at Exactly Magazine wanted to shed some light on Starrset.

Two Brothers from my home town Cali Cali California! Devon True 17 years old and his brother Maverick, 23 are the two rising STARS that are Starrset.

We came across them on myspace but it wasn’t just another play my track type thing.  I actually came across them one night while searching for new and fresh music…and there they were. What caught my eye was the charming two members: Devon True &  Maverick Mc Fly.

Going through their music player I was really impressed by their beats of course because I’m a beat fiend; but I will play favoritism because of their electro fresh youthful sound.

Starrset has a playful sexy seductive sound with a cruising lyrical journey on each track.

It’s honestly been a long time since I have said that “THEY GET IT” and they are making music that I will play over and over, the type of tracks that just make you wanna move and sing along and even get a little grind goin on to
